Student demonstrations end at Dickinson College

A demonstration by Dickinson College students over the school’s sexual misconduct policy came to an end, reports the Associated Press.

Students gathered in the administration building on the Dickinson College campus in Carlisle, Pennsylvania since Wednesday calling for a campus-wide alert system if an assault is reported and expulsion to anyone who is accused of rape.

The college has agreed to the two demands and has promised that a new draft of the police will be prepared with student input and brought to administrators and faculty by May.
