Standoff

Philadelphia police have arrested the man they believe shot an officer two weeks ago. After a standoff outside a house in Summerdale yesterday morning, the suspect was removed from the home on a stretcher after shooting himself.

Two SWAT members were shot at but injured when they served a warrant to the 20-year-old, the Inquirer reports. The suspect was wanted for the shooting of Officer Kevin Gorman, who was wounded in a foot chase earlier this month. A $10,000 reward had been offered for the arrest.
