Stack wants to replace School Reform Commission with elected board

    While many school districts operate under a board of elected members, the School District of Philadelphia works with — or against, in some cases, the School Reform Commission.

    But not if Mike Stack has anything to do with it. The Pennsylvania senator is at the district this morning calling for a school board of unpaid, elected members to replace the SRC.
