Stabbing near downtown Wilmington shopping center

A Wilmington man remains hospitalized, following a stabbing Tuesday night.

Wilmington Police discovered the 40-year-old victim near the Adams Four Shopping Center in the 800 block of West 4th Street shortly after 8 p.m.

According to the victim, a woman just came up and stabbed him in the back with a knife, unprovoked.  He is currently listed in stable condition at Christiana Hospital.

The suspect fled the scene.
