July-like temperatures are being felt all the way to the coast today. But that changes tonight.
A cold front will sweep through the region, delivering much cooler air to the region courtesy of a northwesterly flow, according to the National Weather Service.
Say goodbye to the hot, hazy, and humid conditions — at least temporarily.
Under sunny skies, highs tomorrow will be at least 20 degrees cooler in the middle to upper 60s. Pleasant conditions will continue through Thursday.
A breeze, which developed this afternoon ahead of the cold front, will last through tomorrow afternoon, gusting up to 30 miles per hour at times.
A warmer, more humid air mass arrives on Friday, with temperatures in the lower to middle 70s inland and upper 60s at the coast through Sunday. There will be a chance of showers through Saturday night, then skies will begin to clear on Sunday.
