Delaware police seek suspect in Spider-Man mask

Delaware State Police say a man wearing a Spider-Man mask made an appearance at an early morning robbery of a Wilmington area convenience store.

But this Spidey was not your friendly neighborhood hero. Police say the impersonator, dressed in all black clothing, and another suspect, robbed the 7-11 on the 2500 block of Kirkwood Highway at about 12:45 this morning.

According to police, the suspect wearing the Spider-Man mask displayed a handgun to the 20-year old male clerk and demanded money as the second suspect stood by. The two suspects then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The clerk was not injured.
