Spend Valentine’s Day making fun of others

You didn’t forget about Valentine’s Day, did you? How can you; the red and pink and purple are everywhere. And we here at the Feed keep reminding you. But those who find humor, vanity and excesses in love might enjoy some light Valentine’s weekend reading.

If you haven’t found love on Craiglist’s Missed Connections page, you’ve probably found laughs. Eric Smith has, too. The author, academic and Geekadelphia founder (and a friend, I admit), has been laboring away at Missed Corrections, his site that grades and degrades the grammar atrocities found on Missed Connections.

If you’re looking for the guy wearing “white snickers,” you probably won’t find him. But you will have your spelling corrected.

Don’t drown your sorrows this weekend, revel in the knowledge that you aren’t looking for that girl from Qdoba who gave you the eye last month. And that you know how to spell Qdoba.
