Sony closing

    A South Jersey Sony plant will shut down in March, eliminating a few hundred positions. More than 300 employees of Sony DADC in Pitman received layoff notices yesterday, as the facility will close for good March 31.
    The Gloucester County Times reports economic conditions and the growing trend away from physical media resulted in some tough choices for the company. The entire operations staff has been eliminated.
