Surprise, surprise

Fingers were crossed, but to no avail. The National Weather Service is now including Philadelphia in the areas that could see a coating to an inch of snow, according to the Delaware County Times.

The article goes on to state that the advisory area was shifted northward just before noon, and it’s posted until 10 p.m. The advisory now covers Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania, as well as all of Delaware and South Jersey.

The largest impact should be during the rush hour commute. Snow will accumulate quickly on untreated roadways as the ground is cold, and the first widespread snow of the season normally causes numerous accidents, so be careful out there.

We at Newsworks are still looking for your best snow pics.  You can submit them here.
