Here’s a look at what’s going on this weekend around town for families.

    Friday through Sunday: BIG Snake

Just under a month left to check out Titanaboa, the world’s largest snake! This reptilian beauty is 48 feet long! You can check out the remains on display at the Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel through April 19. Learn a ton and take some monster selfies too.

    Friday through Sunday: Annie!

The sun has come out over at the Academy of Music Kimmel Center! If your kiddos caught the Annie bug after the recent big screen production, this is the perfect way to keep them singing. Matinee and evening performances are offered on Saturday and Sunday. It’s the last weekend to catch it while it’s still in town!

    Saturday: Fancy Nancy

If your little ones are captivated by the dress-up diva, be sure to head to Nest this Saturday. Fancy Nancy will make her splendiferous appearance with music, activities  and fun! 10 to 11:40 a.m., and while you’re there, pick up another “Fancy Nancy” read-aloud for 10 percent off. Oh La La!

    Saturday: Kids Corner Music Festival

Do you have a Kids Corner fan in that house? Make their Saturday and head over to the Kids Corner Music Festival hosted by none other than Kathy O’Connell herself at the World Cafe Live. The show features crowd favorites The Pop Ups, Joanie Leeds & the Nightlights, and the Not Its! 11 a.m. showtime.

    Saturday: East Passyunk Egg Hunt

The bunny has arrived and the egg hunters are on the loose in Passyunk this weekend. So say good riddance to winter and bring those baskets down to the East Passyunk Egg Hunt. Let the kids compete with their peers: there’s a four and under session at 11 a.m., noon is for five to seven year olds, and 1 p.m. is the elite group for eight through ten year olds.
