Sharing services

Wilmington’s First & Central Presbyterian Church will open its doors tonight to members of Hanover Presbyterian Church. Hanover’s boiler died earlier this week, keeping the church as a brisk 55 degrees, the Wilmington News Journal reports.

First & Central will hold services and music performances at 5, 10:30 and 11 p.m., while Hanover’s congregation gathers at 7 and 7:30 p.m. The two will share a post-Christmas service Sunday morning.

Hanover’s boiler — estimated at $25,000 — won’t be replaced until next week.
