Serious crash shutters Deal Road in Ocean

Police have closed a portion of Deal Road in Ocean following a serious crash Tuesday morning.
The accident, involving overturned vehicles with injuries, occurred near Route 18, according to the Ocean Township Police Department.
At 9 a.m., police were establishing detours in the area. Congestion is building near the accident scene, according to Google Traffic.
Both motorists were transported to local hospitals shortly before 10 a.m, according to police, who did not disclose the extent of injuries.
Wreckers were on the scene just before 10 a.m., police said.
Police reopened Deal Road around 10:30 a.m.
