Scope of Central Branch Library changes to meet needs, costs

    The renovation and expansion plans on display in the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Central Branch have been there for so long they’re practically part of the library inventory.

    But the scaffolding outside the building is proof plans are moving forward, albeit, with adjustments.

    As Peter Crimmins reports for WHYY, the library’s $175 million plan now includes more infrastructure changes.
