School bus driver charged with sexually abusing 2 students

A school bus driver from Montgomery County has been charged with sexually abusing two special-needs students.

Prosecutors said 74-four-year old James C. McIntyre of Perkasie touched both victims over their clothes, exposed himself to them and had them touch him inappropriately in repeated assaults between 2009 and 2015.

The assaults took place while McIntyre’s Pennridge School District van was stopped at traffic lights in Montgomery County, prosecutors said. Police identified the victims as a 14-year-old girl and a 22-year-old woman.

McIntyre was arraigned Friday on 102 counts, including institutional sexual assault. He was jailed on $75,000 bail.
