N.J. teacher charged with child endangerment

A New Jersey art teacher and town councilman is facing charges for allegedly having inappropriate sexual conversations with 10 boys, including some of his middle school students, the AP reports.

Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk said Monday that 42-year-old Charles Reilly of Pine Hill has been charged with 10 counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Reilly also is charged with three child pornography counts.

Faulk said the alleged victims are 12 to 15 years old. Reilly is alleged to have conversed online and in person with the victims about masturbation, encouraging them to tell him about their experiences.

Faulk said an investigation was initiated after a child reported the conversations to his parents.
