Northwest mom fulfills son’s last request

It’s every mother’s nightmare to lose a child. But for Mary Warner of Roxborough, her son’s death was also a call to action.

After hearing that her son, Adam, had been killed while serving in Iraq, she decided to act upon his final request by starting up Operation Bedding.

The non-profit organization has sent thousands of care packages full of pillows, sheets, socks and snacks to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Since the production of this video, Operation Bedding has relocated to 6210 Ridge Ave. in Roxborough. To support the cause, log on to www.adamconboymemorialfund.org or call 610-564-1787.
