Guard Start Camp begins today at 9:00 a.m. for children who have a desire to eventually become certified lifeguards.
The camp is open for kids ages 10-15.
Organizers say the camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the YMCA at 7201 Ridge Avenue.
