Roll up your sleeves and get a feel for what it’s like to be a geologist as the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education presents its Rocks & Minerals event, part of the Day Off Program.

The event will give you the opportunity to pull fossils, crystals and geodes out of the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education’s collection.

The program is geared towards kids, ages 5-12 and runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with extended day options available.

The event begins at 8 a.m. and is scheduled to end at 3 p.m.

The cost is $45 for a daily fee for members and $55 for non-members.
