Laurel Hill Cemetery hosts a walking tour entitled “Coming to America: The Story of Laurel Hill’s Immigrants Beyond the Golden Door”
On Thursday June 28 at 6 p.m. Laurel Hill Cemetery, located at 3822 Ridge Ave., will host a walking tour in honor of Independence Day by discussing the past 175 years wherein Laurel Hill has come to bear the remains of men and women from races, creeds and countries from around the world. It will conclude with refreshments, beer and hot dog roasting. Admission is $20 per person, $18 for seniors and students and $17 for members. Advance registration is requested. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or in advance online at www.thelaurelhillcemetery.org or by calling 215-228-8200.
