Rower, cyclist rescue two men from car in the Schuylkill

    After their car went out of control and backed into the Schuylkill River near Boathouse Row, two men were rescued Thursday morning by a rower and a cyclist who heard their cries for help.

    Rower Christopher DeFelice had just finished his morning row when he saw the car go into the river. He jumped in, managing to reach one of the men, reports the Associated Press.

    A cyclist going saw the commotion, plunged into the river and pulled the other motorist to safety before the car sank.
