Rollins agrees to 3-year deal with Phillies worth $33 million

    Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins will remain in a Philadelphia Phillies uniform, at least for the next three years.

    News broke today the shortstop, considered by many to be the greatest in team history, had agreed to a three-year deal worth $33 million with a vesting option for a fourth year.

    According to a story from MLB.com that was published on the Philadelphia Phillies official website, two sources confirmed to ESPN.com that Rollins had agreed to the deal.

    Rollins even made an announcement on his Twitter account, telling his followers “I see you all know by now. Gotta deal with me for 3 (4) more years!”
