Ride the Ducks coming back to the Delaware

After a deadly accident on the Delaware and a ban from using the Schuylkill, Ride the Ducks will return to the Delaware River, WHYY’s Tom MacDonald tells us.

The city has given permission to Ride The Ducks to resume limited tours on the Delaware River, Tom says.  The tours will be shortened, according to Managing Director Rich Negrin. There will have to be a tow boat available at all times and each duck boat will contain a life raft that can inflate.  The tours will also lack one familiar element.  The quacking whistles will be given out after the tour instead of before.

Tom MacDonald has the full story.
