Rev. Jesse Jackson stops by Occupy Philly

As the cloud threatened to burst with rain and some Occupy Philly members made way for the removal of City Hall scaffolding, Rev. Jesse Jackson sat in a tent on Dilworth Plaza.

“Rev. Jesse Jackson just concluded a meeting of black clergy members and diverse groups at the Interfaith tent,” OccupyPhilly tweeted this afternoon.

Jackson has been in town lately, first stopping by Occupy last weekend and then attending Joe Frazier’s funeral.

The video below features Jackson’s Occupy appearance last weekend.
