Rendell in Delaware

Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell was in Delaware Friday to speak about economic development at a conference at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington.

Rendell addressed more than 200 of the state’s top labor, business and environmental leaders at the Delaware Infrastructure Summit sponsored by Delawareans for Environmental and Economic Development (DEED).

Delaware Governor Jack Markell, who also spoke at the event, said Rendell “is the best governor in the country on these issues.”

Rendell says even in a recession, states need to invest in infrastructure to create jobs.
