Rendell and Clinton stump for Onorato in Norristown

Governor Ed Rendell and former President Bill Clinton stood next to Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato and called on the crowd to turn out on election day.

The Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania Governor got campaign support from some big names at a Norristown community center today.

Governor Ed Rendell and former President Bill Clinton stood next to Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato and called on the crowd to turn out on election day.

Clinton said the speed and the shape of Pennsylvania’s emergence from the economic mess will be determined in no small measure by who the Governor is, and what he cares about.

“Dan Onorato will be the next Governor if the votes turnout. The most important thing about this whole deal today is not what I say to you, but what you say to other people after this is over.”

The importance of voter turnout is reflected in a new CNN/Time poll that shows Onorato leading by two among registered voters but down seven among likely voters.
