Rehoboth considers playground smoking ban

Smoking ban at Rehoboth parks and playgrounds up for discussion today.
Rehoboth Beach Commissioners meet this morning to talk about the proposed ordinance which would prohibit smoking at all city parks and playgrounds. The penalty for violating the proposed ban? A warning for the first offense and a $25 to $100 fine for a second offense. Three or more violations would result in a $100 to $300 penalty.
