Reporter Lizz Fiedler is working on a story about redistricting in Pennsylvania, following regulation changes in California the commonwealth will likely never see the likes of. Lizz gave us this tidbit from her conversation with Barry Kauffman, the Executive Director of the watchdog group Common Cause Pennsylvania:

“We are increasingly seeing, especially with powerful new computer programs, a situation in which voters no longer really select their legislators,” Kauffman said. “The legislators select their voters.”

Lizz will have the full report later.
