Music junkies unite to support independent record stores
This past Saturday marked the fourth annual worldwide celebration of Record Store Day.
Manayunk’s own independent music shop, Main Street Music, participated in the fun with CD signings, live performances and music releases.
Heather Maxwell, a regular customer and friend of the shop’s owner, says the day was all about saving the music and saving the independent music stores.
