“Simpletons”
Pa. Gov. Ed Rendell will appear on 60 Minutes Sunday in a segment called the “Big Gamble.” An explanation of the piece reads: “Lesley Stahl reports on the proliferation of gambling to 38 states and its main attraction, the slot machine, newer versions of which some scientists believe may addict their players.”
Young Philly Politics has a snippet of the interview, in which Rendell’s sounding a bit peeved at some of the questions, calling those who take issue with slots “simpletons.”
