Pottstown residents out in full force for ‘Open Doors’ celebration

Pottstown residents were out in full force Saturday for the second annual community-wide “Open Doors” celebration.

Despite some rain, The Mercury reports thousands showed up for the event, which honors local emergency responders.

The event featured performances and a speech from State Senator John Rafferty (R-44th Dist.).

Organizers placed American flags throughout the area, including a large one which displayed on the front portion of the Pottstown Borough Hall.
