Possible serial burglar near VP's house

Delaware police are investigating a series of break-ins in less than a month.

Police in Delaware are looking out for what may be a serial burglar in the vicinity of Vice President Joe Biden’s home near Greenville.

New Castle County Police are investigating a series of break-ins since late August.  Investigators say high value jewelry, electronics and other valuables worth thousands of dollars have been stolen.  One of the burglaries happened about a mile from Biden’s Delaware home.  The others ranged from three to seven miles from the VP’s house.

Some nearby residents told investigators that they had seen some suspicious activity, but police say they haven’t developed any solid suspect information.  Police are urging residents in the area to lock doors and windows, and call 911 if they see any suspicious activity.
