Police alerted to shots fired in Bear, Del.
An early afternoon 911 call on Thursday lead to a shooting investigation in the Pinewoods neighborhood.
New Castle County Police were called to Wimbledon Court in Bear on Thursday around 1:30pm after a witness reported hearing gun shots.
While no one was injured, police did find shell casings on the scene and bullets lodged into the front of a home.
Witnesses in the neighborhood reported seeing an African-American male with a weapon running from the area and driving aware in a dark colored sedan.
An investigation is ongoing, the police have partnered with Delaware Crime Stoppers and are offering a reward of up to $10,000.
