Physician wins Pa.’s Green Party presidential caucus

Despite support from Philadelphia, Roseanne Barr couldn’t seal the deal with Pennsylvania to win the state’s Green Party presidential caucus.

Instead, Dr. Jill Stein won the state’s delegate majority. She also won over New York, Mississippi, Tennessee, Minnesota and Hawaii, as Philly Weekly reports.
Barr won the Philadelphia Green Party’s support last month, but the Pennsylvania Green Party apparently prefers Stein’s “Green New Deal” plan. Both women beat Dr. Kent Mesplay. The air quality inspector and emergency shelter manager got 2 percent of the state party’s vote.
