Philadelphia’s PSSA scores still on the rise

Philadelphia students’ standardized test scores are still increasing. PSSA scores are up again, for the ninth consecutive year.

Preliminary results released early yesterday show a small gain at almost every grade level, and NewsWorks partner the Public School Notebook reports more than half of the district’s students are proficient in math and reading.

Promise Academies saw the most improvement with a 10-point math and six-point reading skills increase.
