Philadelphia’s Parisian conversion

Just how Parisian is Philadelphia?  It’s “Paris in Springtime” as the theme at the annual Philadelphia International Flower Show this weekend. Next month the Paris of 1910 – 1920 will be “reborn” at the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts. And kicking off the City of Light feel in Philly was the “Paris Through the Window: Marc Chagall and his Circle” exhibit which opened March 1st at the Art Museum. All of these Parisian inspired events begs us at NewsWorks to ask Philadelphians if the City of Brotherly Love aptly compares to the City of Light?
