Philadelphia teacher appears on Jeopardy! Teachers’ Tournament this week

Tonight is the first of many in the Jeopardy! Teachers’ Tournament, and one of our own is a contestant. School District of Philadelphia teacher Elisabeth Raab can be seen this week (and maybe next) tapping the buzzer and answering questions.

Raab wrote about her experience in a guest blog post for NewsWorks partner the Public School Notebook. She says despite the tense looks you see on your screen, she made friends with her fellow teaching contestants. And she even got to skip PSSA testing for filming.

Catch Raab tonight on ABC at 7 p.m. EST.
