Philadelphia Mayor Nutter’s chief of staff reportedly leaving

    UPDATE: The mayors office has confirmed that Armbister’s departure. 

    As talk intensifies about John Street opposing Phila. Mayor Michael Nutter in the fall, now comes word that the mayor’s chief of staff will resign today.

    Catherine Lucey at the DN’s PhillyClout reports that Clay Armbrister will leave City Hall.

    Armbrister was a honcho at Temple University before joining the mayor after his inauguration. He’s had a variety of city jobs.
