PHILADANCO performs The Philadelphia Connection, honors Gamble & Huff
PHILADANCO kicks off its spring programming with a tribute to Gamble & Huff.
As part of the season-long celebration of Kimmel Center’s 10th anniversary, The Philadelphia Dance Company will perform The Philadelphia Connection, Friday, April 20 through Sunday, April 22, at the Perelman Theater.
The program will highlight a newly commissioned ballet “Wake Up,” by choreographer Rennie Harris. The show is a revival of “Tribute,” an abstract ballet saluting Gamble & Huff and their place in Philadelphia’s musical roots.
