Pepperidge Farm recalls sesame sticks lots after some customers find wire pieces

    Pepperidge Farm has issued a voluntary recall on some of its Baked Naturals Sesame Sticks after complaints from customers who found small pieces of wire in the snack.

    The Camden-based company announced the recall Friday on about 13,000 affected cases. The package, seen here, features a yellow “20% more” banner on top, and has the following codes:

    WO7 *1781    Sell by 11/20/2011 WO7*1891     Sell by 11/27/2011 WO7*1921     Sell by 12/4/2011 WO7*2041     Sell by 12/11/2011 WO7*2061     Sell by 12/13/2011 WO7*2221     Sell by 1/1/2012

    If you have one of these boxes, don’t eat the contents. Instead, return the package to the store for a refund or contact Pepperidge Farm at (866) 535-3774.
