PennDOT appointee
Pa. Gov.-elect Tom Corbett has nominated an engineer as head of the Department of Transportation.
Camp Hill’s Barry Schoch is Corbett’s choice for PennDOT secretary. Schoch, who consulted on plans for the I-80 toll project, is the transportation engineering manager at the Harrisburg branch of McCormick Taylor, the Associated Press reports.
Corbett also announced Philadelphia lawyer Stephen Aichele as his choice for general counsel.
