‘Little Shop of Horrors’ shakes up Penn Charter stage

Upper School students from William Penn Charter School’s Performing Arts program in East Falls show off their talents on stage as they prepare for this weekend’s performances of the ‘Little Shop of Horrors.’

Director Michael Roche, along with senior actors and actresses tell NewsWorks just how much has gone into this production and their expectations for this weekend.

The musical, about a flower shop nerd who raises an exotic plant that feeds on human blood, is one of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time.

Saturday’s performance starts at 2:30 p.m. at the Kurtz Center for the Performing Arts at 3000 West School House Lane.  Tickets can be purchased online or bought at the door for $10.  For more information, call 215-844-3460.
