Pavement work starts in Sussex
DelDOT has signed a $7 million contract with a Dover-based company to pave a number of roads in Sussex County starting today.
George & Lynch, Inc. will pave travel lanes and shoulders of Route 9 from the Route 18/Cannon Road split to Route 16/Beach Highway; Gravel Hill Road from Route 9 to Route 16/Beach Highway; Delmar Road from the Maryland state line to Delmar Road, and Delmar Road from Waller Road to Columbia Road Extended.
The work is expected to take about 170 days.
