IHOP’s National Pancake Day means free flapjacks for all

Looking for a reason to get going on this blustery Tuesday morning? How about free pancakes?

Now that we have your attention: It’s the sixth annual National Pancake Day. At least, at IHOP it is.

From 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. (that’s all day, people) IHOP is giving away free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes.

They ask only that you leave behind a charitable donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Last year, IHOP raised $2.1 million for the cause — $5.35 million total since 2006.

    Bring on the syrup!
