Overnight lane closures on I-76 begin Monday

    An overnight lane closure on westbound I-76 between University Avenue and 30th Street interchanges will begin Monday night.

     

    The Department of Transportation announced the lane will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, March 16.

    The closure is for the installaion of an electrical conduit and is part of PennDOT’s $50.8 million project tol rehabilitate six structurally deficient bridges that carry Arch Street, 30thStreet, Market Street, Chestnut Street and Little Market Street over Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor rail lines.
