Nursing home dedicates store proceeds to disaster in Japan
Brandywine Hall Nursing home in West Chester will be chipping in to help victims of the disaster in Japan thanks to the generosity of the 93-year-old resident who runs the store there.
According to Daily Local, Mae Kapandais was eager to lend a hand when a member of the home’s staff proposed the idea.
The staff helped out by walking residents to the store during the two hours that its proceeds were designated for Japan.
