On target

What will the A&P bankruptcy mean for the incoming Northern Liberties Pathmark? Admittedly, we hadn’t thought about that until Philly Weekly forced us to. The paper’s PhillyNow blog summed up the answer with a quick note from developer Bart Blatstein.

In short, everything looks OK, even though Pathmark’s parent company A&P filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this week and the 2007 acquisition of the store has pretty much been flamed for the bankruptcy.

Blatstein told PW the Pathmark plans at Second Street and Girard Avenue are on track.
