Occupy New Year’s Eve: Occupy Philly plans New Year’s Eve party

Occupy Philly says it is planning a New Year’s Eve party in a warehouse, it’s just not sure which one yet.

According to the group’s website, organizers plan to celebrate “the successful first two months of our growing nonviolent movement.”

Occupy Philly says it is looking for donations for the party. Organizers say they are looking for a variety of things, from sound equipment to lighting and even warehouse space.

The New Year’s Eve party is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. through Sunday, 6 a.m.
