Oak Lane resident turns her passion into a history book

    One thing we can all agree on about Philadelphians: they really love their neighborhoods. Marita Krivda is no exception. But Krivda took her passion and interest in her native East Oak Lane one step further when she published a history book about it.

    Through a NewsWorks partnership with Philadelphia Neighborhoods, Krivda tells us about her personal history in the area and what inspired her to write the history of neighborhoods’ many players and places of interest.
