Nutter support

Shortly after Michael Nutter announced his bid for re-election as Philadelphia Mayor, District Attorney Seth Williams has stepped up to show his support.

Williams will publicly announce tomorrow his endorsement of Nutter in the upcoming mayoral election. A release issued by Nutter’s campaign office says the two have formed “a productive partnership that has improved public safety in Philadelphia, as evidenced by a homicide rate down 27.7 percent and violent crime in general down 11.5 percent.”
