Not on my street: Township considers banning big vehicles

Commissioners in Lower Allen Township could be sending a message to the drivers of large commercial vehicles – don’t park here.

According to pennlive.com, commissioners discussed an ordinance Monday night that would regulate commercial vehicles of 10,000 pounds or more from parking on residential streets.

According to the report, the township already bans vehicles of that weight from parking on properties and in driveways.

Commissioners say they have received criticism from residents about the large vehicles parking in the township.
